Section 14 Installations
Section 14.1 consists of a list of Orion 1 systems ordered giving a brief summary of applications, the size of each machine and also a list of the peripheral devices (with their assigned geographical names and k-bits) attached to each machine.
Section 14.2 gives information about k-bits and also the distribution of the character peripheral devices between the character control units for each machine in 14.1
Section 14.3 consists of a list of Orion II systems ordered giving a brief summary of applications, size of each machine and peripheral devices attached.
Each type of print barrel has been assigned a number. When Chapter 1 of Basic Input is entered V64 is the number indicating which type of print barrel this installation has. (See 7.1.2.2, 7.1.4.2.12, 7.1.5)

In August 1969 the configuration list was replaced in its entirety. This resulted in the details of some Orion systems be omitted as well as others being updated. In the interest of maintaining records of these original configurations, the old Section 14 records have been retained but their titles have the amended by adding the words "(July 1967)". The new configuration data has been added and recorded with "(Aug 1969)" in their titles Ed.
